Today At The Patch

Saturday, June 13, 2026-

Strawberries are past full bloom at this time and the weather has been good for a lot of pollinator activity. It takes about 30 days for the first berries to ripen. With that in mind, I would guess our first picking will be about July 1. If the weather remains cool for this week, as predicted, I might stretch the opening out a few days, possibly closer to the 4th of July. We’ll know more as we get closer to the end of the month. Keep checking back either on this sight or our berry hotline, 218-327-9199.

Monday, June 1, 2026-

Summer is upon us and the growing season at the farm! The strawberries are almost at full bloom, same with the blueberries and everything over-wintered well. We have chickens in our coop and 2 new baby lambs that are growing fast.

We’ll continue to update you with regards to our harvest dates as the season progresses. Strawberries usually start around the 1st of July, blueberries and cherries come about August 1 and apples start in early September. We hope to see you at the patch.
