Today At The Patch
Monday, March 9-
Spring is coming. I can feel it in the sun’s warmth this time of year. A new season is about to begin. That’s exciting. We’ll be planting a few new apple trees this spring, some older varieties and a couple new ones we haven’t tried before. Apple pruning will begin in another week if the weather continues to warm and the remaining snow melts. New strawberries will go into the ground around May 1. I think we’ll have a few extra strawberry plants for sale if you might be interested in starting your own patch at home. Call me at 763-688-1636 if you think you might be interested in a few.
We’ll continue to update you with regards to our harvest dates as the season progresses. Strawberries usually start around the 1st of July, blueberries and cherries come about August 1 and apples start in early September. We hope to see you at the patch.
Tuesday, October 28-
